Robert Garrigus with a three shot lead on the final round of the St. Jude Classic in Memphis, drove his tee shot into the water on the 18th and final hole, a par 4. From the penalty drop he proceeded to knock it into the trees, now lying three. He then punched it back out to the fairway, lying four. His approach shot left him with a long putt of which he two putted for a triple bogey seven.
Ouch…Robert went from 1st to third, which cost him approximately $500,000 and denied him his first win on the PGA.
