There were about 25 people from the Memphis Camera Club that attended the Saturday outing to Memphis Botanical Garden .  We met Bob Laster who was teaching at 7:30, fortunately the lighting was pretty good and the rain held off. Wind was fairly calm compared to some past years. Roger was kind enough to give us several lenses that we used for the Macro shoot. Thx Roger!

With the previous cold weather a lot of the flowers were not blooming. Looked like the tulips were a week away. However, daffodil hill was nice with good back lighting. Dogwoods were not blooming. The star tulip trees were blooming and the regular tulip trees were starting to bloom.

The new kids park area was neat and gave us some great opportunities to photograph unique stuff. Everyone seemed to enjoy getting out and taking pics, a little bit of spring fever was in the air. We concluded our field trip with around 22 people staying for lunch at the little restaurant there, and sharing stories.
