Dario Franchitti ventured into racing in NASCAR. I was fortunate enough to be there in Memphis at Memphis Motorsports Park.

To stop the action on this photograph, I needed to be at least 1/500 of a second. Most of the times faster than that. Some cool effects would be to shoot 1/125 of a second, panning the car to get it in focus, and the background would be blurred. Takes practice doing that shot.

Dario was fun to photograph very engaging with the fans and other NASCAR drivers.
